Tony is a Townsville based artist, and his two dimensional work centres around charcoal drawings and oil painting, favourite subjects are portraiture and industrial work.
Tony has exhibited in the Percival Portrait Painting Awards, Townsville Art Society Annual Awards and other group exhibitions.
In May 2015 Tony travelled to Aberystwyth Arts Centre in Wales for a 3 month residency.
During this time he engaged with the local community and produced a body of work best described as occupational portraiture. Tony’s subjects for this project included amateur opera performers, steam train engineers, musicians and stone artisans.
Tony has both pet and human portraits in local and overseas collections, and works on commissions.
